UNPLUG THE GRINDER.

Remove the 4 corner screws of the cover and remove it with the
plastic hopper.

Remove the switch handle and screw.

From the hopper area, looking in and towards the front of the
grinder, remove
the 4 outermost hex head screws.

Lift and remove the switch housing (cover) and carefully unplug the
two wires
to the pilot light by pulling them away.

DO
NOT REMOVE ANY WIRES FROM THE SWITCH YET.

Remove the two screws holding the switch mounting plate. (See “S”
on the
drawing)
8.
Remove the bag-clamping lever from the underside of the switch.
(Remember the position)
9.
Remove the two screws holding the old switch in place.
10.
Push the switch and wires aside.
11.
Mount the new switch on the base plate using the following
positioning guide.
12.
Fasten the switch with screws and lock washers from under the base
plate.
13.
Replace the bag-clamping lever on the underside of the switch.
Position
it the same way it came out.
14.
Move the wire(s) from L1 of the old switch to position 1 of the new
switch.
15.
Move the wire(s) from L2 to position 3.
16.
Move the wire(s) from terminal U of the old switch to position 2 of
the
new switch.
17.
Move the wire(s) from terminal V of the old switch to position 4 of
the
new switch.
18.
Check all the wires and make sure the wires are screwed on tightly.
19.
Wedge the back of the base plate on first and fasten the two
mounting
screws.
20.
Place the switch handle on and turn the switch towards on. Confirm
the
bag clamp is working.
21.
Pick up the switch cover housing. Attach the two wires to the pilot
light
(one wire to either side of the pilot light). Gently guide the housing
over
the switch shaft. Hold it in place and install the 4 hex head screws.
Make
sure no wires are pinched between the switch housing and the grinder.
22.
Replace the hopper.
23.
Plug the grinder into the outlet and switch on momentarily. If the
circuit
breaker kicks off, the wiring is wrong. Unplug the grinder.
